During my time at Damaris Ltd, I edited three seasons of Look Books, retouching up to 300 images on each occasion. While liaising with the photographer and working under the creative direction of the owner, Damaris Evans, my strong communication skills were especially important in translating their ideas to a final image, as well as being able to work independently. During this time, I was able to utilise my knowledge of print production processes, colour balancing and proofing to ensure colour consistency between imagery in both RGB and CMYK colour spaces.
Website Homepage and Mailers
During my time working at Damaris, a key responsibility of mine was to ensure that the website homepage was updated twice a week. This involved producing new and exciting imagery and animations for the Damaris Website.
Technical Drawings
Whilst working at Damaris, I was asked to create a selection of specification drawings. This involved converting initial ideas and sketches into manageable solutions for copyright and production purposes. Below is an example of a maternity bra specification drawing.
Mimi Holliday and Tucker Collaboration Aw14
Whilst working at Damaris and Mimi Holliday, I was given the opportuniity to design two prints which were used in a collaborative project between Mimi Holliday and New York Based designer Tucker. Based on a brief given to me by designer Damaris Evans and Tucker deisgner Gaby Basora, I produced the following prints. During this time I showed my ability to accurately interprete and represent their ideas from the initial sketches through to assessing and approving completed items and production standards.
